This page describes the terms and conditions that govern your use of this website and your use of any copyrighted materials belonging to the League of Republican Voters. This page also governs the terms and conditions of your membership in the League of Republican Voters.

GENERAL RULES

If you choose to join the League of Republican Voters, or if you use this website or if you access any copyrighted materials belonging to the League of Republican Voters, you will be agreeing to abide by the terms and conditions of these Terms of Use, Service and Membership between you and the League of Republican Voters.
  2. We may change, add, or remove portions of these Terms of Use, Service and Membership at any time, which shall become effective immediately upon posting. It is your responsibility to review these Terms of Use, Service and Membership prior to each use of this website and prior to participating in any event or activity sponsored by the League of Republican Voters. By continuing to use this website or by participating in any event or activity sponsored by the League of Republican Voters you agree to any changes.
  3. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services or activities at any time. We may also impose, at our sole discretion, limits on your right to participate in certain services or activities without prior notice or liability.

Membership in the League of Republican Voters is open to any person eighteen (18) years of age or older and shall be controlled through this website or through its written application for membership. Those persons joining through this website or through its written application shall be deemed “Regular Members” and shall have only those rights and privileges as they are described on this website or in the written application for membership. These rights and privileges may from time to time be amended or revised by the League of Republican Voters without prior notice or liability.
  5. No Regular Member, who is not also a duly elected Director, shall have voting rights regarding the operation and management of the League of Republican Voters. All voting rights are vested exclusively with the Board of Directors.
  6. The League of Republican Voters may from time-to-time conduct Town Hall meetings, forums, debates, online seminars, and other events for the benefit of Regular Members and the general public. The League of Republican Voters retains the right to exclude, at its sole discretion and without prior notice or liability, any person or Regular Member from these events. The League of Republican Voters also retains the right to revoke, at its sole discretion and without prior notice or liability, the membership of any Regular Member.

  1. This website, the contents of this website, and any copyrighted materials belonging to the League of Republican Voters, are the exclusive property of the League of Republican Voters, and are intended for the personal, noncommercial use of its Regular Members. All original works and materials published on the website or elsewhere are protected by copyright and are owned exclusively by the League of Republican Voters. or by the party credited as the provider of the content. You shall abide by all additional copyright notices, information, or restrictions contained in any content accessed through this website.

You hereby agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the League of Republican Voters, and it directors, managers, officers, agents, information providers, affiliates, licensors, and licensees (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all liability and costs, including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees, incurred by the Indemnified Parties in connection with any claim arising out of any breach by you of these Terms of Use, Service and Membership.

The League of Republican Voters does not represent or endorse the accuracy or reliability of any advice, opinion, statement, or other information displayed by or distributed through its website or contained in any copyrighted material created by, originating with, or obtained from any third-party or third-party source. You acknowledge that your reliance upon any advice, opinion, statement, or other information displayed by or distributed through the website or contained in any of the copyrighted materials belonging to the League of Republican Voters shall be at your sole risk.

TERMINATION

  1. You may terminate your membership in the League of Republican Voters by e-mailing [email protected]. Your termination of membership will not be effective until your e-mail has been acknowledged as received. The termination of membership will not affect the retention of your personal information by the League of Republican Voters.
  2. The League of Republican Voters, may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice or liability, terminate or suspend your membership. The League of Republican Voters has the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice or liability, to restrict access to all or part of its services and activities for any reason, including and without limitation, any breach of these Terms of Use, Service and Membership.

COMPLAINTS AND OBJECTIONS

  1. Those persons accessing this website and all Regular Members, including those accessing any copyrighted materials belonging to the League of Republican Voter agree to direct all complaints and objections regarding any content to both the registered agent of the League of Republican Voters, as shown on the Florida Division of Corporations website, and to the following e-mail address: [email protected].
  2. Those persons accessing this website and all Regular Members, including those accessing any copyrighted materials belonging to the League of Republican Voters agree that the League of Republican Voters shall have up to ten (10) business days to act on any complaint or objection that has been properly delivered. Should the complaint or objection result in the removal or modification of any content displayed by or distributed through this website or contained in any of the copyrighted materials belonging to the League of Republican Voters, and should such modification or removal substantially comply with any demand made pursuant to this provision, then the League of Republican Voters will be absolved from any further responsibility or liability.

MISCELLANEOUS

  1. These Terms of Use, Service and Membership have been made and shall be construed and enforced in accordance with Florida law. Any action to enforce these Terms of Use, Service and Membership shall be brought in Circuit Court in Florida’s 4th Judicial Circuit.
  2. Notwithstanding any of the foregoing, nothing in these Terms of Use, Service and Membership will serve to preempt any portion of our Privacy Policy.
