Frequently Asked Questions
What is the mission of the League of Republican Voters?
The League of Republican Voters organizes political meetings, special events and public forums for the purpose of conducting voter education and promoting active and constructive engagement in the political process.
Does the League of Republican Voters take positions on important issues?
Yes. And we actively engage with our elected officials to advocate for legislation that aligns with our conservative principles and values and against legislation that doesn’t. Our beliefs are summarized here under “What We Believe.“
Will the League of Republican Voters be able to explain pending legislation so that members understand how it will impact them and their families?
Yes. Using a network of resources, we’ll be able to track important legislation and provide concise summaries on how it’s likely to affect Republican voters.
Will the League of Republican Voters help to elect true conservatives?
That’s our goal. We’ll screen candidates using questionnaires and interviews and then publish their answers in our pre-election Voter Guide. We’ll also post Voter Guides created by other conservative organizations in NE Florida. Once an election is over, we’ll follow-up with “Accountability Scorecards” to track the performance of our elected officials and grade them on whether they’re supporting conservative policies and values.
How can I join the League of Republican Voters and what does it cost?
